No Wairarapa ahua engari I tupu ake au ki Tauranga Moana.

Kia ora koutou

My name is Ashleigh, born in the Wairarapa and grew up in Te Puke. I have been massaging for 10-plus years, working alongside sports rehabilitation centers, elite athletes, and sports teams from grassroots to national and international levels. I still continue to work with our national teams and grassroots clubs as well as having my clinic in Mount Maunganui on Newton Street. I grew up around Rongoa and mirimiri and love sports teams and sports in general, so I decided to come back from traveling and start studying massage therapy in Wellington so I could be close to my Nan and see what kind of career I can create in regard to massage. Oh, have I got stories for you. I completed my diploma in health science massage therapy and then I went to Auckland and did a bit more study and completed my health science in sports massage. From then I moved back to the bay and worked for other people as a contractor. I got to create some awesome friendships and connections. Then at the start of this year 2024, I went out on my own, grabbed a clinic space in a boxing gym on Newton Street. It's hard, but nothing worth having comes easy, right? Anyway, ORA is me, it's an Optimal Recovery Approach via sports and remedial massage, cupping & needling, plus so much more that is yet to come.
